I coordinate a youth leadership group in Simpson County, MS. This group is compiled of 30 Juniors from our local schools. This group is required to meet many qualifications to be a part of this program. We hire Rob to spend a weekend with our kids to kick off each year of a new program. The results have been amazing. Effective Team Leadership
A new workshop, Effective Team Leadership combines two of our core competencies - systematic issue resolution skills and experience-based team development - into a powerful process for developing new and experienced team leaders.
Effective Team Leadership provides key personnel with the skills and information they need to effectively guide their team. Using personality assessment, classroom discussion, and shared experience on the challenge course, this training explores and explains
- Task vs. people leadership;
- Measurements of team effectiveness;
- the Team Performance Model ;
- How to effectively involve others;
- How to guide key team processes;
- How to support team success; and
- How to coach effectively.
Participants reflect upon the information presented, their leadership experience, and new self-understanding. They practice implementing team leadership skills in team meetings and on the challenge course and receive both peer and instructor feedback. Participants engage in shared problem-solving around participant-identified team leadership challenges. They conclude by developing action plans to guide their teams on the job.

This training is ideal for new and experienced team leaders and for candidates for those positions in all organizations.
Venue
This training is typically conducted at our challenge course. Arrangements can be made to deliver the workshop at a challenge course in your area.
